Driving to Art Chapiz...

Art Chapiz Apartments are located in the Cuesta del Chapiz street, in the Albaicin district of Granada, which means easy access through car, something not usual in this quarter due to its narrow and intricated streets; it is for this reason that car access is strictly regulated. If planning on driving to the apartments, please be ready to provide us the following information for us to send it to the mayor’s office and be granted access to the district through Pagés Street:

  1. Number plate of the vehicle(s) entering the Albayzin,
  2. Type and model of vehicle(s),
  3. Full name of the driver(s),
  4. Driver’s identification number/passport number.

This information should be provided, if known, at the time of booking your reservation. If the plate number is not yet known by that time, as with rental cars, it can be provided later on as soon as this information is available.

For arriving at the apartments, please follow these instructions as many GPS might take you through restricted streets:

1- Leave A44 highway at the MENDEZ NUÑEZ junction (exit 128).
2- Exit the roundabout onto Calle Méndez Núñez, getting into the city.
3- Continue straight onto Av. de Fuente Nueva.
4- Continue straight onto Calle Dr. Severo Ochoa.
5- Keep straight in the underpass to Av. de Madrid towards Albaicín and Sacromonte quarters.
6- Turn right onto Plaza de San Isidro to go up hill through Av. Murcia 350 meters.
7- Keep right on Ctra. de Murcia for 550 meters.
8- At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on Ctra. de Murcia for 850 meters (you will have a breathtaking view of the city as you go up on your right-hand side)
9- Turn right at the traffic light onto Calle Pagés through the access control.
10- Continue down the street onto Placeta del Salvador and Plaza del Salvador with the El Salvador Church on your right-hand side.
11- Turn right onto Placeta de Abad and go down the street (you will get a glimpse of the Alhambra fortress up front) until you make a sharp left onto Carril de San Agustin.
12- Continue onto Carril de San Agustín for 260 meters until the traffic light at Cuesta del Chapiz.
13- Turn right at the traffic light and go down Cuesta del Chapiz for 40 meters. The apartment building is on your left-hand side.

Although this might sound too much of a hassle, it is very simple.
