Since we first moved to Granada back in the 80s we have always been captivated by the magic and charm of the Albayzin. Its narrow and winding streets hold a mystery that traps you and invites you to discover its many corners full of charisma and beauty. We always knew this would be our homeland and we have seen this reflected in Art Chapiz tourist apartments; we want this hidden magic to live in every single corner of our “oases” and to serve as a starting point to discover a UNESCO world heritage site.

Being artists ourselves, Art Chapiz had to be unique apartments. We wanted it to be magical accommodations to inspire the visitors and above all to make them feel special. That, combined with our passion for architecture and interior design would create a place that spoke for itself. And so it does through the paintings that hang on the walls that are windows to color and abstraction, through its lightning designed to transmit the warmth that each space needs or through its eclectic furniture pieces.

A space that will undoubtedly make you feel the charm and magic of the surroundings, only suitable for travelers open to feeling and discovering.

Art Chapiz reflects a mixture of Arab, Asian and, of course, Mediterranean reminiscences; all this in a multicultural environment with notable Mozarabic and Judeo-Christian brushstrokes. Our Location

Granada is a city with an exceptional location, not in vain was chosen by the many previous civilizations that populated it. Located just 30 minutes by car from the Sierra Nevada mountain range, home to the highest peak in peninsular Spain (3,479 meters) and 30 minutes by car to a tropical coast dotted with white villages full of culture and small coves of crystal-clear waters, heated by 330 days of sun a year.

Art Chapiz unique apartments are right in the center of the lively ancient Albayzin quarter, and strategically located at walking distance to everywhere: 100m to the neighbouring Sacromonte district, home to Granada’s cave houses and many flamenco shows, 200m down to Paseo de los Tristes a beautiful street for restaurants and tapas that sits below the Alhambra fortress and on the edge of the Darro River, 300m from the Mirador de San Nicolas, the best panoramic views of the Alhambra and Granada – a must-see stop for everyone visiting Granada, or 900m to Plaza Nueva, the city center, with its numerous restaurants, bars and terraces.
